The year, 2018, has moved past and despite many challenges, PESDC with the able guidance of the Management Council and support from our members, the commitment of government agencies and dedication of all concerned, we are able to keep the organization moving and consistent. For the year 2017, PESDC has trained 183 school leavers through Workforce Technical Transformation Program (WTTP) and 36 graduates through Industrial Skills Enhancement Program (INSEP). The WTTP program offered were in Welding, Automation, Automotive, CNC, and Thermoplastic Technology.
Starting from 2017 We offered a new programs for INSEP, called Optics and Optoelectronics Technologist, Tooling Technologist ( Mould Making Technology), Advanced Mechatronic Technologist for Manufacturing Industry and our existing successful program Contemporary Broadband Communication Specialist which have benefited unemployed graduates to be assisted in acquiring New Skills and Job Placement.
Apart from this, we also offer public programs to the local community and industry through Pembangunan Sumber Malaysia Berhad based on RAISE (Rural Accelerated Industry Skill For Employment) , GENERAtE (Graduates ENhancEment pRogrAmme for Employability) and INBASE programme which is one of the strategic initiatives using the 30% Pool Fund under Certification / Value Added Programmes Identified by the Sectorial Training Committees (STCs) / Special Fund for Industrial Association Programme.
