PESDC is accredited by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), Perbadanan Tabung Kemahiran (PTPK) and Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) as the accredited training provider. These are agencies related to Ministry of Human Resource . PESDC is also accredited by SME Corp. to provide training for SMEs’. COLLABORATIONS PESDC has been in collaboration with other professional bodies to provide recognized scheme for competence certification e.g. • Welding PCN, ASNT, TWI • Automotive IMI Award, UK; Malaysia Automotive Institute • Safety & Health NIOSH • Plastic MPMA Several MoU were inked with institute educations and guilds to enhance closer working relationship and collaboration for the benefit of the industries e.g. Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar Malaysia Plastic Manufacturers Association (MPMA), Perak The Perak Foundry and Engineering Industries Association (PFEIA) The Cement and Concrete Association of Malaysia FMM Institute, Perak To establish PESDC as The Reliable Skills Training Centre where the manufacturing industry can look towards meeting its need whilst at the same time serving as a springboard for entrepreneurial development. ﷯ To provide training and dissemination of information that will assist the manufacturing industry in keeping abreast with changes in technologies, enhancing productivity and quality of production as well as to encourage entrepreneurial development in the industry. ﷯ • UPGRADE existing technical skills and knowledge of the manufacturing industry to enable it to anticipate constant technological changes and keep abreast with the technological advancement. • IMPROVE the quality of work at all levels of an organization through the provision of skills and management training. • PROVIDE and MAINTAIN central organization for the promotion, research, entrepreneurship, work skills and for the general development and technical advancement of the workforce the manufacturing sector. • WORK closely with the Perak State Government, Federal Government and relevant agencies on the implementation of Human Resources Development. • FACILITATE the effective utilization of training resources that are available in support of operational requirement and technological progress. • PROMOTE skills training to prepare workforce for occupational competency. • PROVIDE a one-stop centre for corporate advisory and diagnostic services for manufacturing companies who are seeking to improve their operations.
