In 2014, we continued to work with SKM in keeping our curriculum updated. We also had partnership and collaboration with Institute of Automotive Industry UK, Iconic Consultants, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Kolej Vokasional, Ministry of Education.  This benefited the local community and encouraged skill development in the state of Perak.

The Management Council would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the Perak State Government, the various Government agencies both at State and Federal levels and the Industrial Sector, who continued to extend their cooperation and kind assistance in our efforts to promote training.

Lastly, my sincere appreciation to all our members for their support.

Once again, I am honoured to be given the opportunity to address our members, fellow colleagues in the Management Council.

The year, 2014, has moved past and despite many challenges, PESDC with the able guidance of the Management Council and support from our members, the commitment of government agencies and dedication of all concerned, we are able to keep the organization moving and consistent.

For the year 2014, PESDC has trained 126 school leavers through Workforce Technical Transformation Program (WTTP) and 25 graduates through Industrial Skills Enhancement Program (INSEP). The WTTP program offered were in Welding, Automation, Automotive, CNC, and Thermoplastic.

We offered a new program for INSEP, called Contemporary Broadband Communication Specialist and this was successful. Apart from this, we also offer public programs to the local community and industry through Pembangunan Sumber Malaysia Berhad.
